Aku mengagungkan Tuhan,
hatiku bersukaria karena Allah penyelamatku.
Sebab Ia memperhatikan daku,
hamba-Nya yang hina ini.
Mulai sekarang aku disebut yang bahagia,
oleh sekalian bangsa.
Sebab perbuatan besar dikerjakan bagiku oleh Yang Mahakuasa,
kuduslah nama-Nya.
Kasih sayang-Nya turun-temurun,
kepada orang yang takwa.
Perkasalah perbuatan tangan-Nya,
dicerai-beraikan-Nya orang yang angkuh hatinya.
Orang yang berkuasa diturunkan-Nya dari takhta,
yang hina dina diangkat-Nya.
Orang lapar dikenyangkan-Nya dengan kebaikan,
orang kaya diusir-Nya pergi dengan tangan kosong.
Menurut janji-Nya kepada leluhur kita,
Allah telah menolong Israel hamba-Nya.
Demi kasih sayang-Nya kepada Abraham serta keturunannya,

My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because he has regarded the lowliness of his handmaid;

Because he who is mighty has done great things for me,

on those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm,
